My name is Teri Shim. I was born in Hong Kong, then moved to Seoul, Korea, before coming to the states.Currently, I’m studying arts, technology, and the business of innovation at USC’s Iovine and Young Academy.

I’ve always loved making things, so I spent most of my life jumping between whatever skill I needed to make the next one. After reading a comic I loved I tried drawing comics, after watching a movie I loved I tried editing videos, after playing a game I loved I learned to code so I could make a game. Somewhere in there I stage managed a high school production and found out I’m really good at keeping track of a lot of small things and how they relate. Design ended up being a perfect fit.
